Day one: historic core

Spend the first day around Sultanahmet and the historic peninsula. Choose your paid interiors carefully, add a side-street lunch, and end with Gülhane, Sirkeci, Eminönü, or a gentle Karaköy crossing depending on energy.

Day two: Galata, Bosphorus, and views

Use the second day for Galata, Karaköy, a ferry ride, and a viewpoint or waterfront evening. This gives the city scale and keeps you from spending the whole trip in museum queues.

Day three: Asian side and food

Cross to Kadıköy or Üsküdar, explore markets and seaside streets, then return by ferry near sunset if weather cooperates. Keep the evening flexible for a final dinner close to your accommodation.

Planning cautions

Opening times can change seasonally, fares may change, and popular attractions may need advance booking. Build each day around one area and one backup plan rather than a minute-by-minute schedule.
